| Hello, I am a Satellite/Computer tech at Lefferson/Drake Electronics in Bloomington Indiana. My hobbies are computers, caving and just about any oval track racing, especially NASCAR. I have been caving since 1983, my first wild cave was Patton Cave in Monroe County Indiana. I started vertical caving not to soon after that first trip, which is the caving that i like to do the most. My first vertical cave was Showcase Cave, also in Monroe County. My caving partners are Phil Kidd and Mike Drake. Phil and I have been caving together since 1993 and Mike and i have been caving since 1999. I have been a NSS member (40031) since 1994 and a Eastern Indiana Grotto member since 2004. Phil and I like to do most of our caving in TAG (Tennessee, Alabama and Georgia). That is where the deep ones are at and the place to go for vertical caving. Phil and I also do the TAG Fall Cave In every year since 1994 which is also fun to do and a good time to get some new caving gear. For pictures of some of our caving trips go to my Cave Pics page. My computer at the moment is a Amd 2400 with a Epox mother board, 512 megs of ddr memory, 256 meg Geforce FX 5200 video card, 48x cdrw, sound blaster live audio card, Winfast TV turner card in a Antec case with a 430 watt power supply. The server is a Intel P3 933 on a Abit BX-133 board, 512 megs of memory, Sound Blaster Live audio card with a 4 video input video card for the outside cameras. As of now we have 4 computers in the home, Genia's Amd 1.4 has mother board issues. Genia is now using a old P2-400 and we also have a Celeron 650 notebook. All of the computers are networked on a Linksys 4 port router with a 8 port hub. Internet connection is Smithville DSL with a static ip. TV in the home is a DirecTV Dvr in the basement and a DirecTV receiver in the living room. The dish outside is a 30 inch round dish pole mounted in the backyard. There are three outside camera's, front door, side door and driveway. All the camera's and satellite receivers are on channel modulators. The satellite receivers are on channels 3 and 17, the outside camera's are on 20, 23 and 26. Any TV or pc tuner card can see all of the satellite receivers and camera's. |
