Punkin

Punkin was born in 1990. I had the parents of Punkin, they raised him till he was about 4 weeks old, then I took over.  He kind of thinks of me as his mom (LOL). Punkin isn't really a people bird, he mainly tolerates people.  He doesn't like me to be out of the computer room that much, he gets quit vocal when I do.  He isn't really scared of either the cats or the dog, he thinks he is the king of the house.

Shelby

Shelby is 5 years old.   She is a very friendly dog and loves to meet people and dogs and even cats.  We were taking a walk together when we found Libby our cat.   She has gotten a certificate for passing beginner and intermediate obedience class and also an agility class at Canine Companions.   She especially enjoyed the agility classes and would love to take more of those.   She loves going to Griffy Lake for walks and always jumps in the lake.    I want to take her canoeing and camping this summer.   We feel very lucky to have such a sweet and gentle dog.

Noel
Noel is our 3 year old cat.  Noel is a very friendly cat.  She always meets me at the door when I get home from work and she always comes when I call her.   She and Shelby are great friends but she is not too sure about Libby yet.   She likes to sit on my lap when I am at the computer or watching television.  She loves her toy mice and her cat tree.  She’s very good about using her scratching post and not scratching the furniture.   When the weather gets warm she likes to go out on the back deck in the evening.   I think she may be hunting.   I feel that the mice stay far away from our house because of Noel.    Noel is an excellent cat!

Libby
Libby is our newest pet.  Shelby and I found her at Bryan Park on a very cold Sunday evening.   She is a very playful kitten with lots of energy.  She has very nice manners and always washes her face after she eats.   She only needed a little encouragement to use the scratching post and she is now learning to stay off of the dining room table.   She also loves the toy fur mice and the cat tree.   She seems to be fascinated with Noel and is always trying to play with her but her play is kind of rough.  I’m hoping that when she settles down a bit they will get along.    I’m so glad that we found her.    Elza says no more pets!!
